After quiet a few months without any update here, we will try to chatch up a bit. The year 2016 was busy with some bodywork. The Ducati 916 fairing had to be entirely replaced by new designed carbon parts. As well the engine was undertook to some developement such as electronic ignition, new footrest system for left- and righthand gearshifting. Also a pair of gasflowed cylinderheads, racing-camshafts and lightened valvetrain parts, to name a few. Great success for Fritz Egli-Racing Team at Hockenheim-Ring

Also successful race-weekend for me, on my EGLI-Vincent ETPV-1330-P. Two times third place in Super-Twins class. Hockenheim-Ring is very demanding for air-cooled engines as we go full throttle at topspeed for almost 20seconds every lap. I admit, I was worried about to see the needle dancing around 6100RPM for such a long time. But my tuned Godet Engine resisted the strain.

A brief report at the end of 2014: For a few weeks, the TPV EGLI-Vincent is disassembled into its components. Important data of the engine such as compression ratio, valve lift curves etc. are recorded and used as a basis for performance-enhancing measures. Dozens of hand-crafted small parts and components, such as footpegs or shift mechanism, are revised for future CNC production on the computer. A second bike will be assembled for development purpose, primarily the design of the bodywork. The progresses will be presented at the Swiss-Moto in Zurich in the end of February.
